Lifeline Panic App
Velexan AI built the Lifeline Panic App, an emergency alert app that lets users trigger a distress signal at the tap of a button, instantly sharing their real-time location and photo or video evidence with predefined emergency contacts.

Brief, Challenge & Result
The Brief
The client needed a personal safety app centered on a single panic button: when pressed, it should immediately capture the user’s real-time location and alert their predefined emergency contacts, without requiring any extra steps in a high-stress moment.
The Challenge
Beyond just sending a location, the app needed to capture supporting photo and optional video evidence, deliver alerts across multiple channels (SMS, in-app notification, and email), and reliably post all of that data, including sensitive media, to a backend API and mark the incident as active in real time.
The Result
The Lifeline Panic App launched on Apple’s platforms, including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision, giving users a one-tap way to alert their emergency contacts with their live location and supporting evidence, backed by a server that tracks and stores each incident.

Frequently Asked Questions
The app requests location permissions upfront so that when the panic button is pressed, it can immediately pull the device’s current GPS coordinates without any extra prompts slowing the user down.
Yes. Building with a cross-platform framework like Flutter means the same core app can be extended to Android and the Google Play Store from a shared codebase.
Most single-platform mobile apps take 6 to 10 weeks from discovery to App Store submission, depending on how many alert channels and backend integrations are needed.
