Whiteriver Group is a privately owned flooring distributor, established in 1997 and now a market leader in laminate and engineered flooring across Ireland, supplying builders’ providers, DIY stores, and flooring retailers nationwide. The Brief
Whiteriver Group wanted a dedicated mobile app so their trade customers could browse the flooring catalogue by category, check live stock, and place orders directly from a phone, backed by the same account terms, pricing, and credit arrangements they’d get ordering by phone.
The Challenge
Behind a simple consumer-style interface, the app needed genuine B2B functionality: live inventory sync, account-specific credit control, ERP and volume-based discount pricing, shipping service selection, and full invoice and order history, all staying fast and reliable at scale.
The Result
PocketShop launched on the App Store and Google Play, giving Whiteriver Group’s trade customers an app that handles browsing, ordering, credit control, and invoicing in one place, and the app has continued to receive regular feature updates and performance improvements since launch.
